Where is "Shizuoka" ?

Shizuoka Prefecture is located in the Chūbu region. It is famous for being the home of Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan (3,776m) and other natural or historical attractions. Hamamatsu city, located on the western side of Shizuoka and is the birthplace of Japan’s world-famous companies such as Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. The capital city is also called Shizuoka.
