Where is "Nara" ?

Nara Prefecture is located in the Kansai region and the capital city is also called Nara. The prefecture offers a worthwhile stay with some of Japan’s most historically significant wooden landmarks: Todai-ji, and Horyu-ji, the largest and oldest wooden building in the world respectively. Todai-ji is also famous for its large, breath-taking Buddha statue.
